Nightmare Kitchen Lev-log 01
Last year I joined ex Meta colleagues at Byteback Studios to lead level design on Nightmare Kitchen, a four player co op greasepunk shooter. This dev log covers the earliest steps of my process, from defining room intent with one sheets to establishing universal room templates inspired by classic Mario games. These templates keep rooms readable and scalable across biomes and lay the groundwork for future procedural generation
